The Linear Motion Stage

This week's Lab was to build a linear motion stage. I decided to take this as an opportunity to learn about flexures, and build my own demonstration flexure stage. Given the materials I could find for this week's lab, my stage requires further constraint to a plane. Ideally, the flexure elements would be blades instead of rods, to provide the additional stiffness required on the strong axis.
